excepts from bus stops by laura

We are born with this natural need for affection. For human touch. For skin on skin. Why is it that doctors ask parents to open their shirts and bare their hearts to their newborn? Attach them to their chest to connect them to what started it all.

We are born with this natural need for affection. I once loved a boy, loved him in a couple of months and lost it all in a couple more. It makes me laugh to hear people say, "You overloved." Maybe that's why we crucified Christ on a cross.

We are born with this natural need for affection. But I was afraid to show it or any emotion. Life and death hangs in the balance, so fragile and succeptible to change by any measurable shift in climate. But we are meant to love. We are meant to experience. We are meant to feel. And love is not measured in fluid ounces or cups.

We are born with a natural need for affection which fear can steal. It was stolen from me for a long time. But I have since tasted and seen. I am doomed now, for I can never go back to who I once was, when I chose not to feel. That is no way to live life, so I am learning to love again.

- I am learning to love again

remember this

God is good. God is good. God is good.  God is in control.  - God's peace.  - God's strength.  - God's plan.  We walk by faith ...
